Our State Farm agency in Staten Island is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide a high level of service to our customers.
No previous insurance experience is required. We are looking for someone who communicates well, stays organized, enjoys helping people, and is willing to learn. We provide hands-on training and support to help you obtain the required insurance licenses.
This is a strong opportunity to build a long-term career in customer service, insurance, account management, or sales.
What You’ll Do
- Answer customer phone calls, texts, and emails
- Assist with billing, policy, and account questions
- Process policy changes and customer service requests
- Help customers understand their coverage and available options
- Follow up on outstanding service requests and customer needs
- Assist customers with claims-related questions and next steps
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Identify potential coverage gaps and additional insurance needs
- Work with our team to improve customer satisfaction and retention
This is primarily a customer service role, although all team members are expected to recognize opportunities where we may be able to help customers with additional insurance needs.

Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, office, or call-center experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $42,000–$48,000 base salary, based on experience
- Expected first-year total compensation: $50,000–$60,000

Licensing & Career Growth

This is a full-time, in-office position in Staten Island, NY.
